*No person knowshow many Korean people died in the 6.25/Korean War. Some estimates range between 1.5-3 million. According to "Strategic Air Warfare," a document published by the US Office of Air Force History in 1988, over 4.5 million Korean people were killed (see footnote 94 on page 100/158 of the PDF). Other figures range as high as 6 million. Taking the conservative estimate of 1.5-3 million, and dividing this number by the approximate duration of the Korean War (3 years, or 1096 days), we arrive at a figure of 1370-2740 Korean people killed, on average, per day. If 4.5 million Korean people were killed, this number would be 3653. If 6 million Korean people were killed, this number would be 5479.
